RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • The school hours are form 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on all working days except Fridays. On Fridays school begins at 9.30.

  • The school uniform is to be worn daily.

  • The school diary must be brought to school daily. Pages should not be torn off from it. It should not be used as rough exercise book.

  • Pupils should attend school regularly. In cases of absence due to unavoidable reasons, leave letter with the signature of parent/guardian should be brought.

  • If for unavoidable reasons a parent/ guardian desire to take his child home during class hours, he may do so with the permission of the principal.

  • Late comers are allowed to enter the class only with permission of the principal.

  • Speaking English in the class and in the school campus is compulsory.

  • Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their own books and belongings.

  • Any damage done to school property or to the things of other pupils will have to be made good.

  • No pupil shall wear jewellery or ornaments while attending school. School authority is not at all responsible for its loss.

  • Every pupil shall keep himself clean and tidy. Pupils shall keep the class room and school premises clean. They shall not disfigure the walls or leave scrapes here and there.

  • Children suffering from infectious, contagious diseases are not allowed to attend school.

  • Pupils from one class ae not allowed to be in other classes.

  • Books, periodicals or newspapers other than those permitted should not be brought to school.

  • Exchange of articles or money transactions among students is not allowed.

  • Keep left always when pupils move along the verandah, corridor or on the staircase.

  • Irregular attendance, habitual negligence of school work, dishonesty, misconduct in or out side school will invite deterrent action including dismissal from the school.

  • Every pupil must show respect to every staff member of the school, elders and visitors.

  • Promotion: Promotion to the next higher class will be decided on the basis of the students’ performance in the tests and examinations as well as attendance and conduct.
